8 POS Flat Flex Cable

The term flexible flat cable refers to any variety of electrical cable that is both flat and flexible. FFCs are straight connections without any components, and consist of a plastic film base with pins on both ends. Each end is reinforced with a stiffener to make insertion easier. FFCs are lighter than traditional round cables, allow for easy cable management, offer better EMI/RFI suppression, eliminate wire coupling issues, and they offer greater flexibility. This flat flex cable consists of 8 pins and can be plugged into any 8 position FFC connector. It can also be used with our MicroSD to FFC breakout board (ICB00515)
